An ordinary bowl;
a piece of history
no one else wanted.

Eagerly I took it
for I saw a bit of myself
there, in its deep interior

warm
bright
cheerful
on the outside

quiet
open to possibility
on the inside

durable
useful
yet still
breakable

certainly best
when filled
to the brim
